How to Count the Days Until Halloween

Every year, Halloween falls on October 31st in the United States.

If the current month is October, then you can find how many days are left using subtraction. Subtract the current day from 31, since Halloween falls on October 31st.

You can also find how many days there are until Halloween by adding the days left in the current month to the days in each month until November, then the days in the month of November before Halloween (30).

You can use the same method to find how many days until New Year’s, Christmas, July 4th, or any other significant date.

For instance, if it’s currently August 29th, then you can find the days until Halloween on October 31st like this:

days until Halloween = 62 days
