Why does Shinobu look taller than Kanao here?

Kanao should be taller for 2 reasons. She’s 5’1 and Shinobu’s 4’11. And Kanao wears boots but Shinobu just has sandals.

Real reason? Probably just a mistake.
Demon Slayer universe reason? Probably uneven ground. Unless they clearly show the ground in this scene.

Nah, Shinobu is using a special breathing technique to very rapidly jump up a few inches continuously in a way that creates an after image that makes her look taller than she is. /s
